SENIOR HIGH
The Senior High programme at Lead First Academy crowns years of a very rich, socially diverse, and academically rigorous educational experience. The High School thus terminates remedial classes and ushers students into university. We, therefore, aim to ensure that our students are positioned to contribute to and benefit from tertiary education and the wider world. Our emphasis at this level is on the higher levels of academic expectation and preparation for complete social relevance.

Lead First Academy has identified six essential attributes; Critical thinking, Discipline, Effective Communication, Social Responsibility, Creativity, and International-mindedness. We expect our High school students to actualize these attributes and also serve as role models to the younger students. We thus emphasize Leadership, Responsibility, and of course Academic Excellence. We are hopeful that all our High School students will take advantage of the numerous opportunities offered by the school to equip them to become truly global citizens.

Please find below the steps in the admissions process:
Stage 1: Entrance Assessments

English is the language of instruction, therefore, entrance exams are conducted in English.

High School students are tested in Maths, English, and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and, if a student wants to study a skill (e.g. sewing or designing), he or she will be interviewed to prove his/her decision.

Results and recommendations will be submitted to the Office of Admissions for evaluation in consultation with the head of academics and coach.

Prospective students are required to spend a day in the year group to which they have applied. This is to enable teachers to observe pupils in the school setting and fully assess whether Lead First Academy can meet their needs.
